I went into the pen, and saw one of my roosters acting weird. He was in a nesting box, and he was backing up and going forward. He just couldn't get out of the nesting box. He seemed mixed up. He was trying to peck at things. He was trurning his head to the right, and going around in circles.

He seems normal now. I'm really not sure.

Does he need to be wormed?

I wonder if he was in the nest box looking for eggs. Any egg eating going on?

It could be rooster nesting behaviour. They do something similar when trying to encourage a hen to make a nest in a particular place.
A picture sequence or video would help.;)

Thanks, I just got a bunch of new chickens and they just turned around 14 weeks old. Maybe he is teaching them. He has been great around the baby chicks. He was making sounds like the hen does. Thanks for the info. I had no idea, it makes me love him more.
