My rooster is burping....?

Okay, so my rooster "George" is burping while he roosts...

I have to have him inside because it's too cold for him outside. He's a silkie rooster and very nice, but it's his first night inside and when he's roosting I'm hearing him. . . Burp? I guess you could say its a burp but it's like.. a "Brup" sound. I don't quite know what to do XD Any advice on burping chickens?

Feel his crop. Is it rock hard? He could have impacted crop. If he's been impacted for a day or so, he may be pooping very small poops or hardly at all. He may not feel like eating.

Go feel his crop and report back.
