The match same breed as him. Ive incubated eggs. Nothing shes laid close to 2 dozen eggs..nothing.

Meanwhile, my banty cochin roo
is FORSURE SEXUALLY MATURE breeding my bcm hen, standard EE's, barredrocks. You name it.

WHY WOULD HE NOT BE INTERESTED IN A BREED SMALLER THAN HIM? She would be Easier to breed. Is it cause shes frizzy feathered and he trips over his own wings so i doubt trying to grip onto friz type. I tried keeping them in run..still no interested. I kept him and got rid if my other roo to have adorable cochin chicks so now wat..

Ones a hen starts laying they are fetile

And how many hens do u have
And how many roosters with them
They can be fertile. Its like when they lay a fart egg or double yolker. Glitches in the system. It let also possible that she gets mated and can lay fertile eggs, but the sperm haven’t got to her oviduct yet. That can take up to three weeks.

One rooster.. Um ihave proof he
is sexually mature. I have proof.. inside the incubator and the hens have only been around him for well over six weeks so he is def the only father to the babies chix moving around when i candled them. I have seven producing hens. I see him chase every hen except her and well ONE OTHER HEN, a crazy broody mother hen with baby chicks. he obv avoids ms broody acting like shes invisible. But who can blame him
LOL.. Maybe he likes ladies playing hard to get bc his wife sticks by his side and never runs.. He hides from her. LOL
