My Rooster is making a strange noise.

Hey everyone, when i put my RIR Rooster(along with all the hens) in the coop, he started making this weird noise. It sounded like buckbuckbuck BUCK and just repeated it over and over. They are all 6 months old. Thanks!

That is not strange. It's a totally normal sound most chickens make every single day. They were just worried.

Wow, Really? Theyve never done that and were doing it in the morning when I woke up. Do you think they did it all night? And is there something I can do to help them?

When I had a rooster he made the most incredible array of noises. Sometimes he sounded like a dinosaur! So I wouldn't be worried. It might have been stress, or he might have been communicating with the hens, or making noises as a way of saying to you that these are *his* hens and he wants to defend them.
