So Im a new flock owner and my young rooster I have had about a month and a bit is missing feathers on the lower part of the back of his neck and his throat as well as having the runs.
I have been feeding him the same as the girls, a grower crumble but I give him private treats of fish and beef and Id say pretty hardy helpings almost every other day to make up the protine. They also free range the majority of everyday.
Should I be worried.
Also he shares his space with 20 chickens. 10 sleep in the coop and 10 on his perch outside the coop.
They seem to all be fine.
