My rooster isn't acting right

Last week Tuesday I noticed my rooster acting very quiet and kind of out of it. He seems to just have lost his spirit. Today I noticed that his comb is a little pale and is starting to droop. He stays in the same vicinity of the rest of the flock but not with them and sometimes I find him all by himself in another part of the property. He is aware of me and will object to me trying to catch him but I did today and put him in a separate chicken tractor with sugar water and moistened catfood with "chick feed" - even though he is adult to give him some of the extra vitamins in the feed. He drinks but I have not really observed him doing a lot of eating. I am going to leave him locked up for a while because the other roosters (his brothers) who always got along are starting to pick on him.
Any suggestions?

He's approximately seven months old. His poop seems to look fine but I'm going to have to take a closer look. Is wasn't all that obvious that my dog had them just by casual observation. What do if it is worms?

Take a sample to the vet to have them look at it under the microscope to determine the type of parasites. Different wormers treat different parasites.

Look for external parasites too, they will knock the snot out of a bird. Start encouraging him to eat. Try hard boiled egg, spinach chopped up with it. Give him polyvisol childrens vitamins, just a couple of drops twice a day.
