My rooster isn't being a rooster anymore :(

My roo's behavior has changed a lot recently, he doesn't walk around with the hens anymore and spends most of his time by himself or sitting with the dog in the barn.
When he eats he pecks at the hens and takes all the food for himself. Today he spent the whole day in my neighbors garden before coming home to roost.

Before he was a great rooster just doing normal rooster things and very suddenly changed behavior.

I don't know how old he his, could he be getting old? Or is it an illness? He eats and drinks plenty. It's just sad seeing him all alone.

He finished his molt about 4 weeks ago and he's the only rooster we have.

Mostly crushed corn and a variety of grains, although our flock doesn't really eat much of the feed we give them because they find enough whilst free ranging.

Are you in the USA? Best to buy an all flock poultry feed, with oyster shell in a separate dish for actively laying hens. He might be ill, very hungry, or have parasites. have you inspected him, and other flock members, at night with a flashlight for mites or lice?

It sounds to me like a lack of balanced nutrition and it's affecting his hormones and health which would reflect on his displaced behavior.
