MY Rooster Must Be SICK!

6 A.M sharp! I was heading out to the barn as I do every morning like clockwork. I stopped dead in my tracks! What? Whoa was that noise? It's coming from inside the barn. Ha Ha! My young almost 3 month old rooster, Rodney was trying to crow. Or, should I say he made an effort. He actually attempted a 'cock a doodle doo'. This one makes you think he's sick! I've listened to a lot of roosters crow. This boy needs to run under a rock and hide! He's so bad at crowing, Ha Ha. He attempted this long drawn out 2 syllable crow. It was so funny. To bad I didn't have my camera handy when he was attempting to 'Whoa' the ladies!

I have to get video of this asap!


I've listened to lots of roosters crow on you tube, but I have to say Rodney has them all beat!

Thanks for the heads up! I'll check into it. I went inside got my camera and went back to the barn. I had planned on doing a video of him. He hasn't made a sound since. LOL Maybe catch him tomorrow morning or late in the evening! It was the most gawd awful sound I've ever heard!

Here's the rowdy Rodney the Rooster now. He's such a fine young lad!
