I’ve noticed my rooster falling as sleep for about a week now. On Tuesday I went to check on him and saw that his left foot is bent down. I investigated but couldn’t see any wounds, and it looks normal but is warm. Warmth means swelling right? I moved him to the choock pen where it is dry and warm with food and water. He is alert as soon as I touch him but falls back into his weak lethargic state. Not moving at all now and lays of balance. No eating either now. I noticed this morning that his beak also had something that dried around it, I removed it and he gave me a gentle peck….. what can it be? I love my Oscar so much, he is such a gentle soul….. I would hate for him to die. What can I do….. I will send photos shortly. Please help! PS vets are far away so I need to make due at home if it is possible.

I can move his foot without him responding….. but he can’t himself. They get mixed poultry feed but are free roaming during the day

Yes they do. They get mixed poultry feed of sunflower seeds, corn, pellets and some other seeds in there can not come up with the name now. They are also free roaming around my house
Cut out all the seeds and corn, anything that's a treat and doesn't say 'formulated ration' on the bag, he may be pigging out on the treats and not eating the proper feed and getting vitamin deficiency.
Do you have any b complex tablets?

I’ll do that. No I dont. I only have our medicine currently, which the closest to an immune thing is Redoxon.
