My rooster started attacking me help.

So i have been raising him since he was a baby, along with four of his brothers and three of his sisters after their mom (my chicken) decided to no longer take care of them, it was all good till today, he is now 8 months i believe, and today when i tried grabbing him he pecked at me and started fighting with my feet :/ what can i do to stop this? Anyone help. By the way he is the one in my avatar picture.

Thank you thechxwhisperer, yesterday i had to rehome one and the last of his brothers, due to the same issue, the good thing is that i know the person i gave my roos to and i know he takes as good care of chickens as i do
