MY rooster Stopped Crowing any answers?????

i have 3 EE roosters 12 hens and 4 black astrolorps hens one of my roosters stopped crowing....anyone know anything about this.....i did introduce the 3rd ee rooster after i already had the other two....all my come frome murray mcmurray....the other frome a friend. the one that doesnt crow would put the other on the run at first...then he hurt his toe and now has no toenail....now the other rooster runs him now and now.. toe (the chicken that dont crow) doesnt crow...and hasnt crowd for almost 4 months...Any info would be greatfull.

He's scared to crow, He knows that when he crows the other rooster will bust his butt

I had a young rooster that never crowed even once while stuck in the coop this winter with the other roosters. As soon as I opened the door to the yard this spring (we still had 3 ft of snow but I threw sawdust on top of it near the door, he marched right out onto the snow & started crowing. I guess he figured out he was the only chicken willing to stand on the snow! He started getting beat up once the snow melted though... (he's now off by himself waiting for a new home)

Gosh I'd keep a Roo if it didn't crow! (yup I live in town)

Nah--most of us let ours out onto our lawns...he'd crow.
