My rooster won't open one eye. Please help!!!!

My 4 month old RIR won't open his left eye. Besides this he seems to be perfectly normal. There are no liquids around the eye at all. Has this ever happened to anyone? I posted a pic of him, but i couldn't get a pic of his bad eye.

No pun intended but keep an eye on it. Keep checking for discharge or other abnormalities. He may have been pecked in the eye or injured it in another way.

It's possible he mightve scratched it or it mightve got pecked. You can put terramycin eye ointment in his eye to prevent an infection if you wish.
