My Rooster!!!!

Hey all,


My girls are turning 4 months old on friday. My rooster just started to crow, and crow he does. It is very deep, and sounds like an owl. BUT, he is trying to mate with the pullets already?!??!?!? We have 17 pullets. Is this normal? Should I intervene???

Let the boy have his fun. By the time the girls start laying, he`ll have it right. Why would you wanna curb the boys natural instincts?..........Pop

We leave it up to the roosters here. I'd not stop him.
