My Rooster?

My roster was one of two. We got rite of one about 3 months ago because he was just down right mean.. the one we have left is a RIR and has only one wing. Takes great care of his girls and showing interest in the 13 new ones that out in their own cage out in the back yard. everyone gets along with everyone. I can go out in the yard with no worries or so I could up until last week. roo got my son and I

. today I was just walking in the yard talking on the phone and up from behind roo got my leg.

Question: what can I do to stop him before it gets out of hands. I like him but I don't want to go back to not being able to go into my yard.

Nip it in the bud. Carry a broom, and the next time he attacks show him who is the boss. If he doesn't get the message- coq au vin in the crockpot.
