Now please dont rag if I messed something up. I used all scraps and some old trees. Still a work in progress. Just picked up the free chain link today. This is just to prove to my wife I could build a coop out of craigslist free wood and pallets ads. Thanks for viewing. Would it be ok to pack the gaps with mud? Like earth mud not drywall mud lol. I have wire over the gaps on the roof. To allow airflow... this is my first time if you cant tell lol. The metal was just to catch the heavy run off from the roof of the hens Coop (The bigger one). Or was the metal not needed for that?

Thank you :) my rooster loves it way more then a store bought one I had. The other just didnt have good ventilation. I will be putting a wall in the middle as both ends of the coops open for easy cleaning and I plan on rescuing another rooster Friday.

I am trying to start a rooster flock. This will be the first. No hens will be present to eliminate that factor. They will not be put together. My rooster will stay free range and the new will stay in the run until I can see what the temperaments will be.
