My Roosters lovely crowing annoying neighbour!

I live on 5 acres in Greenbank in Queensland with 3 beautiful roo's that look after my selection of beautiful chooks. My neighbour has told me to "get rid of my roosters so we can get some peace!" I feel so annoyed that he has said this as I am within my right to own three roosters on my property without a permit and I have also contacted animal management to make sure that I am following the right directions for keeping backyard poultry. I have always night boxed my roosters since getting them. I am going to now soundproof their boxes for night, but he is now saying to me that he hates them in the day crowing (even though he goes to work during the week and just his adult daughter is home). He is very intimidating and I am almost at the point of "should I give away my beloved boys to please the cranky man next door!" He has live here for 30 years and I for 4 years. So I am sure when his children were young he tried to give them the farming lifestyle, which is all my husband and I want for our kids. Next he'll probably say that my two cows moo too much! AAARgh. What to do?

You can tell that most of the people who replied don't deal with roosters. My neighbor must have 10 or more. They crow from sun up to sun down. No relaxing on my front porch sounds like I don't even know what. Such a nusiance. I could tolerate it if it were morning maybe evening some...but it is constant. Neighbor doesn't care about anyone but himself. Do what you can to be a nice neighbor. Yes you may have the right to have them...but the noise is a nusiance.

You can also tell by the date that this issue likely solved itself years ago.

Likely they do have roosters or did at that time. They crow. Just like dogs bark or parrots scream when bored (they're just as loud as rooster sometimes)
