Sorry for your loss of Ruby, by reading this thread, it shows how well she was cared for and I am sure lived a happy life(unfortunately too short). Luckily like you said, she is no longer suffering, and I can imagine you are the one still suffering, and you have a ton of support here on BYC as you can already tell. I wish you the best of luck with your other chickens who all hopefully live to be very very old for you. I am sure she will be missed by the whole flock.
