HOW FUNNY! I didn't notice the hand in the photo until you said that. Yes, that looks like my infant stuck her hand in the way.

I just read an article last night (by Coleman lantern nonetheless - after power went out due to a t-storm) that Freedom Rangers are no longer around. It's in one of the poultry magazines and I believe I remember them asking for anyone with a Freedom Ranger to contact the author or someone else to let them know. Sorry - can't remember all the exact details and can't find my magazine at the moment - go figure!

I read the article also. It was probably written by Harvey Ussery and would have been in Backyard Poultry or Mother Earth News.
