And this is the other one. Hers are breaking off and idk why. We haven't handled them alot bc they are moulting.

They both are in a bad state for sure. Keep them on a higher protein feed, and see how it goes. They may eventually resolve. If the rooster is mating these hens you may want to separate him out so he isn't damaging them more. I'm not sure why the ends are breaking off. Give them time and good feed and see how they look by the end of the year.

I'm giving them chick starter with 24% protein and I scramble them eggs. They also have oyster shells as well. Do you suggest anything different?
