My setup

Thanks!
* Yep, the birds are locked up at night. I do want to put some colour bond on one side for winter, but at the moment we are melting (our temps get into the 40's (cent) and it is super hot), so have some time to winter proof it. That being said our winters are fairly mild-ish.

*the coop is in a fully enclosed backyard with 6 foot fences, the only predators we have around here would be foxes, and i've only seen one in the four years we've been here.
*no birds of prey
*the coop has lattice and chicken wire (in some pics just looks like lattice)

haha, bugs me too!

Thats the first thing that I noticed haha

And someone might have already said this but just make sure those bricks used for the nest boxes dont fall and crush your chickens.

But overall it looks great.

Regards roost, they are young yet, but they will soon start to use it. It is just natural. I raised mine with a little roost in their box from day one, and they were on it from day one too. Their only roost is now 4 ft off the floor.
Like Teach1rusl says, chicken wire is no good for anything except keeping chickens in. Reinforce all lattice and chicken wire with hardware cloth mesh, 1/2" .

You can get a predator attack anytime of day or night. Read the predator section in BYC. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE PREDATORS.

Fix that before working on things like matching the lattice to the roofline.
