What kind of symptoms will the hen exhibit when the crop is impacted?

The crop will feel very full and hard in the morning before feeding. The chicken will start to lose weight despite eating. Some birds may stop eating all together. There may be a foul smell coming from the mouth. The biggest indicator is that the crop doesn't empty during the night.
