My silkie

Hi I'm new to this Forum and was just after a little help with one of my silkies. We have recently just got her. When she came to us it looked like she couldn't see so we cut her hair slightly and she's much happier. But she constantly pecks the floor. With our other chickens, you can put food o. The floor or in your hand and they will ear the food but lot our new Silkie. She just pecks the floor sideways and I'm worried she's not able to eat. Can anyone help. Thanks

Welcome to BYC. I would try providing feed in a deep pan/dish to assure that she can eat.
