My silkies don't want to leave the coop??.. WHY

I have silkies mixed in with my standards. (17 standard, 4 silkie). all but 1 silkie adapted easily to the ramp. I think it helps if they are mixed in with other birds that use the ramp as opposed to an all silkie group. the one that had trouble only had trouble getting back in it always came out by itself. I had to put it back in about 3 nights in a row before it figured it out on its own.

My coop is about 2 feet off the ground with a 5.5 foot ramp. My ramp does not go all the way to the coop opening (in the floor of the coop) there is about a 6-8 inch drop. (that's as high as my silkie can jump) they hop from the coop to the ramp to go down and walk up the ramp and hop into the coop to get in. I did that so the ramp would have an easier slope. I think the slope of the ramp is the biggest obsticale for a silkie.
