My Silkie's first eggs!

i just hatched 10 out of 11 and i havent done any trimming. little man just gets the job done.

Thank you bigdawg, that makes me feel better. She is only sitting on 4. We got two more eggs, one yesterday and one today. She's been sitting on those eggs for 6 days. I'm afraid to put any more under. Maybe collect some more and try the bator I guess. I haven't had too much luck with the bator and silkies. I had ordered 6 eggs last spring and the little red silkie above was the only one that hatched and I had to help. He/she has scissor beak but otherwise seams healthy. He/she is spoiled rotton. Keep him in the house for now. The other eggs when I gave up on the 18 day. and open them they were scrambled probably from post office handling
