My silkys are so dirty why??

Hello!! I have 4 silky chickens and the two older ones head is getting dirty and their feathers are clumping together in their head is there a way to unclump it? I bought a herbal dust bath but their head is still dirty

The herbs won't help.
It's because they essentially have fur, but aren't equipped to deal with it.
They aren't dirty, it's just the way his feathers are.

I don't see them being too dirty. My hen with silkied feathers can get much dirtier than that. Humans and chickens have very different definitions of dirty
