Good Luck with yours also. I don't think the ones I bought are fertile. Good practice run for me though. I've put 6 of our own eggs as well 4 SL & 2 RIR. Time will tell.

Ummm... not sure that any of these mean anything. You might want to brush up on some basic theory - I have found the BYC Learning Center to hold many answers.

I agree, time to do some reading. You can't see anything till after incubation and sperm is too small to see... not to mention that if the egg is fertile, it would have gone past the two cell stage and be a little blastocyst.
Perfect! I get really good results with my water heater thermostats as well. I mounted mine to a metal plate on the back of mine. I've got a nice short swing of about .5 degrees. Which totally works.
Day 10... I removed all 22 of the store bought eggs the other day. They were not fertile. I do have three of the five of my eggs with some development going on.
One looking good...
And two that look like this ... Not so good
I got a crazy temp spike of 107 after I removed the 22 store bought eggs. I was thinking the temp would drop some without all the heat from the 22 eggs. Guess that's what I get for thinking...
All in all a good first experiential test for me and the Sink-A-Bator so far, still learning.
I swaped out the aquarium heater theromstat & went back to the hot water heater theromstat as I was able to get it to work so well now. Here is a short video showing how well it is cycling.
