One of my chicks has found a new way it likes to sleep.

I was showing its feet to my mother, who can't grasp the difference between Silkie feet and Other feet (this chick is a Silkie/Frizzle cross). The other chicks hated this; this one stretched out and fell asleep.

That's just too cute.

How come chicks don't snore? They can sleep almost anywhere, anytime, and in any position, so why don't they snore?

I don't know - I expected it to snore! I have a rooster who snores.

It's funny... this chick, I can hold it in my hand and it will just peep-peep-peep. As soon as it's upside-down, it's out like a light. The others are just the opposite.

And I'm waiting for an opportune moment to play a 'dead chick' prank on some poor, unsuspecting person...

LOl, thats what i think!

my sisters cochin will get in between where her robe meets, above the rope holding it together, faces first into her stomach and sleep!

That is too cute! I have had chicks sleep in some odd positions but I have to say none have been anything like that!

That's funny. he/she is probably happy to be out of that egg and is taking full advantage of all the space to stretch out.

I can imagine her lying on a deck chair beside the pool there. :P

Adorable pictures.
