Oh, Kelly, I'm so sorry! I felt like I knew her-I remember when she was just a chick. As you know, I have three SLW girls that I got with my others just before you got your girls and they are very special to me. ((((Hugs)))))

Thank you all again for the support. I spent most of today w/the rest of my flock. I cleaned the coop & run & feeders & waterers. I sat on my chair in the run & snuggled with my lap chickens for hours. I think they know she's gone. When we let them back into the area of the run where she died they kept pacing in the spot & looking around

I feel so bad. She was a bully to them, but I think they miss her.
I sure missed her calling me out of bed at 5:25 to let them out of the coop. I could always hear Filomena's loud mouth all the way up in my bedroom at dawn.
It has been a sad weekend, luckily all of my others girls seem to be fine. I checked vents, poops, eyes, feathers & feet on everyone today.
