Some of my ancestors came from the Tennessee and Kentucky area...I've always wanted to see that area.

Wow! That's 1 big rooster! Our SLW's keep losing there tailfeathers so Mama's makin em some chicken saddles. Yours are very pretty!

they are absolutely the prettiest birds.. next spring i am going to start raising them.. i fell in love at first sight..i was wondering ? you sell trios. are they all from one hatch? i don't want to inbreed.. i was thinking of getting some from you and backwoods poultry farm to breed.. are they from the same background?

I don't know how many different roos Buddy Henry has but he got a SLW roo from us last fall so there is a chance they would have some of the same bloodline. there isn't a lot of people that raise the SQ SLWs so the gene pool is limited.
