My son wants an "ugly" chicken

Maybe it's called something else. It looks like a shield comb mixed with a peacomb and free standing.

Is it anything like this? Father had a Sheild Comb, mother had a Pea Comb.

Okay, sounds interesting.

Here's the dad and son. Dad is the black one and the comb is probably about an inch or a bit bigger at the tallest point.

The son is the grey one and that picture was from when he was younger. Now the comb is about 2x as large

Bet y'all will never guess what made them either

This boy never had points on his comb, just a flat disk pretty much.

That comb looks closer than the flat one. My boybhas like wrinkles over the top and sides.

@Calmkl Has he looked at Dorkings? They have slightly shorter legs and have an extra toe
