My Spoiled Chickens

Today one of my girls ran out the door of the coop while I was feeding them and I had to chase her around the yard to catch her. This inspired me to put up a run so they can go play in the grass. So I put up some temporary fencing and opened up the door expecting some happy chickens running out into the grass, but I literally had to chase them out into the grass. Of course, once I got them out they were very happy. To me, that was the goal, and I think it was a pretty successful day!

They sure look happy. Isn't it funny how they act over something new? Then once they get over that first time, they are on board forever!
