This is going to sound crazy, but I built a coop for three (that turned into eight!) chickens. Pictures suck because THEY.WOULD.NOT.HOLD.STILL!

The first, is Puffy Chicken. She is a 4 week old Polish with an attitude (the hairdo does not help).

This miserable looking creature is Speck. She is a tiny Brabanter that I swear in her past life was a buzzard.

Next is Hamster. She is a Silver Grey Dorking (not 100% sure) that seems to be a very happy and outgoing chicken.

Jo Jo, the Barred Rock that has "claimed" me as his/her perch and has decided I'm another chicken. When I sit in there (with no food) she will come running and hop up onto my knee. I am still working on getting her/him to stop biting me. (I don't really know if this is a pullet or cockerel).

Derpy Chicken. She is one of four Faverolles and the only chicken I've owned to get intself stuck in interesting situation. She was allowed to run with the other chicks till she got herself stuck, on her side, between a cinder block and the garage wall. She seems happier in captivity. This morning she couldn't figure out how to walk out from under the coop, she didn't panic, just stood and stared at me.

"Help me please?"

Her sisters, the Derpettes. They had to be seperated from the other chicks and put in with Puffy and her flock due to bullying (Puffy and the others get along with everyone, no fighting or bullying). They are, interesting, to say the least. One couldn't manage to figure out how to "disembark" from the shoebox.

Adorable chicks!

Puffy is going to be a pretty chicken.
Speck does look like a vulture!
Hamster doesn't look quite like a Silver Grey Dorking (I have one that is around the same age, I'll post a picture) but is adorable all the same
Jo Jo acts just like my Dexter, who is suppose to be a pullet, but I'm having doubts. Friendly but prone to biting. Jo Jo's comb looks like that of a young rooster
Love the triplets! I tried getting a faverolle, but he suffered neurological problems.

Dexie (Dexter) my Delaware, bold and willing to perch on my shoulder

Sedgewick, my Silver Grey Dorking (he has extra toes, as do all dorkings, as well as silkies and I think faverolles too?)

Captain, the friendly Speckled Sussex pullet

That is a beautiful Silver Grey Dorking!
Yeah, I think my Hamster might be a Speckled Sussex like your Captain.
Turns out Jo Jo is cockerel, sigh. That makes either four or five Barred Rock cockerels (one or two may be pullets).
Your luck with Faverolles is like what happened to me with Cuckoo Marans (got one from the feedstore, died in two days, got another, rinse and repeat).
