Sorry about the short amount again.
She pranced toward the squirrel. The critter ran as fast as it could along the fence, slipping and terrified.
"BAILEY!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.
Neighbors started gathering around, oohing and ahhing. I finally got the guts to run at her. I grabbed her, but she slipped right out of my hands, kicking me in the face. My face had deep scratches, but that was the least of my worries. I have to save that squirrel.
"Bailey! Don't! It's only a baby!"
I had to think of something, and fast. I thought and thought as Bailey chased the squirrel around the yard. She used to hunt in her old home. I love animals, and I can not let my dog eat one.
"Somebody help me! Get me something!" Then I remembered that I have her most favorite thing in the world. Tuna. I scurried inside the kitchen and grabbed a bag of tuna out of the cabnit. I ran out the door and wripped opened the bag of tuna.
"Bailey! Tuna! Here girl!" I said in a sweet, but loud and scared voice.
She stopped chasing for a minute and looked at me for a second. Her eyes glowed like the sun. Then all of the sudden, she turned around and darted at the critter again. She caught it in her mouth. It wiggled and squealed. I have never heard a squirrel squeal before. It fell out, laying on the ground unconious. Bailey ran towards the bag of tuna on the ground, took it under a tree, and began to eat it. I ran toward the poor little animal, picked it up, and took it in the house. Everyone left, talking about how fasinating that was. And it was not fasinating to me. I got out a cloth and wrapped the critter in it.
