My Sultan Melody/Mel

We still haven't figured out if roo or hen but here is Melody/Mel at 5 1/2 weeks.

With my daughter Kat (Kat's Silly Chickens)

After Posing for a bunch of pics she/he decided to fly to the cage.

Melody/Mel is only 5 1/2 wks old and is an inside bird. Standard in size, and so friendly. Mom

to hold it and it

to be held. It flew for the 1st time today and scared Mio moms chihuahua.
She also has a 5 day old Bantam Sultan.

Oh, but Mio is so Sweet, he's 10 y/o and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Besides him and Melody/Mel are best buddies. He won't let my Jack Russell

near Melody/Mel. That's his and Mom's bird and no one else's as far as Mio is concerned.

Thank you for the compliment on Melody/Mel, it is growing up so nicely.

Such an BEAUTIFUL sultan.

I have a very soft spot in my heart for sultans as we have a sultan bantam hen named Princess. I love how sweet and loving they are. Have fun with him/her!
