Mario is one of my show projects. He is my bantam Cochin rooster I was preparing show. Just yesterday my poor boy was missing and feathers everywhere so my neighbor came over and was helping search for him we found him by a log pile my poor boy got attacked by a dog :hit! He didn’t come out to bad by injuries just like 2 small cuts. He did lose an entire tail puff of feathers and a bunch under his wings. The feed room was completely filled with feathers. My other rooster just lost a few tail feathers but not as bad. So it’s going to be a lot of recovery. I think the thing that saved him is all the feathers he had. Has anyone used feather conditioner by manna pro? I was going to try some I have. He used to let me grab him and eat sunflower seeds out of my hand and now he is scared of me to even touch him let alone eat out of my hand!:hit The only time I can touch him is by grabbing him In a corner and then I can hold him tight. I found many teeth marks on him when feeding

That’s sad, hopefully he makes a quick recovery.

Oh noooo...that looks painful. I can certainly understand your pain. A raccoon attacked one of my roosters and took out all four of my girls. He looked horrible following the attack. He is finally back to himself with minimal scarring, but he will allow me to put my hand in his cage to feed him and give him water. Hopefully in time, he will come around. Good luck!
