My Texas A&M laid a white egg, is that bad?

My Quail are just a few days shy of 8 weeks. They have started laying eggs and so far all of the eggs are the colored beauties I expected. This morning though I found a completely white egg. Not one mark on it. Should I be concerned? My Quail also seem to lay at a particular time everyday, between 3 and 7pm. This white egg was laid last night sometime between 8pm and 9 am this morning. Its my first group of Quail. I have 7 hens.

Mine do this from time to time... I have one that always lays a white one... sometimes it will have a mark here or there but I dont see the harm in it.
They hatch/eat the same as the others. ​

As long as it’s the right size and has a nice strong shell all is probably good. Maybe this specific quail lays white eggs? I’d be interested if this keeps up.
I got eggs to hatch from a neighbor and a few of those eggs were almost all white. One had only 1 tiny speckle.

I am too.. I think I might incubate this one. I do have a rooster so its possible its fertile. I will update. Thank you for posting.

Each quail lays a unique egg pattern and color, i have one that has splats, and then the top half has a milky over tone giving the splats a purplish hue. My second hen lays only eggs with polka dots and speckles, and the third lays spiral patterned eggs. How many quail do you have? I have 5 Texas A&M and my first batch of 34 eggs should hatch next weekend!

So far I only get like 3 eggs per day. I have a batch of 9 eggs in the incubator now and they should be done by June 10th I believe. I can not wait to see the outcome. Its my first time incubating eggs too. keep me posted!

Just you wait, when they all start laying, they will lay, i already have another twelve eggs waiting and more coming... I could've put probably close to 50 in, but 20 or so went bad while i was waiting for some goose eggs to clear out, but its ok

That's a lot of roosters, keep an eye on them to be sure the hens aren't being overmated.
