My Three Amigos! (Nigerian Dwarf wethers)

They are so clean and boldly colored, they look photo-shopped in the first picture for sure! LOL

mlheran - Are those hog panels you are using for their pen? If so do they work pretty good for ur goats? thanks! and..... very cute goats!

They are stunning! Cisco looks like an animal you would see in Africa, with his color and markings. Beautiful!

Yes, those are the 5' x 16' "combo" hog panels. I had planned to get the hog panels with the 4"x4" bars, but in between the time I priced the panels and actually went to buy them the price had gone up $10 per panel -so I went with the slightly more resonably priced "combo" style. They are definitely an investment, LOL!

But yes, they are definitely worth it. At first I had considered getting a roll of good woven wire, but I kept hearing that the hog panels work best so I finally decided to go with them. They were actually ideal for my situation as the ground is almost completely level, and as long as you site the posts correctly the fence goes up very fast. I did the whole yard by myself; pounded the t-posts and attached the nine panels within about seven hours.

The goats love it! They stand on it, rub their sides along it as they walk, and reach their heads through for treats. My guys are disbudded, so there shouldn't be any problem with heads stuck in the fence -thankfully! It is an important consideration though, if you are planning on having horned or standard-sized goats. But overall, I love the hog panels -they're super tough!

Thanks! And I think that hog panels are a very good idea. THey will be easy to move should you ever need to, unlike woven wire. My kids just loved the pictures of ur goats! thanks again for the info! chris.........
