My tiny chick

I have an itty bitty bitty .. She sure dosnt sound to itty bitty when she is hollering at the top of her little lungs though. She has recently taught another little baby to holler to yay me

I love the babies but holding a tiny chick day and night is so exhuasting. She is shure cute though.
Peacefull only when sleeping
cant tell but she is hollering in this picture I dared to move and it woke her up
Her favorit place to sleep cupped up in my hand.
I need name Ideas for her / him, Every day she is alive her chances get a little better but I really dont think she has much more then a 25% or so chance she just started drinking on her own still dosnt want to eat yet

I had on tiny,tiny chick hatch and every time I would hold her she would lean against my thumb so
Thumb-a-lean-a is her name.

Those are grate names. She is a serama chick so she was sapose to be small but she is half the sizse of the other serama chicks that hatched during her hatch .

This little one died about 5 minutes ago . She was starting to eat and drink on her own and walk around and not call for the past 2 days so I left her in with the other chicks. Last night she looked pretty puny again so I gave her some gatoraid and went to bed . I got up to check on her this morning and she was upside down feet up and being sat on and walked over. I got her out and warmed her up and gave her some elecrolytes and was planning on doing that every hour till she perked up .. She never did she started crying a couple minutes befor she died then she went quite and died. She lived a week, but never grew. I will miss her and I feel really guilty for putting her back in and not contenueing her 24 hour a day care. My brain tells me that whatever was wrong with her probly didnt have a fix but I still feel so guilty.

Aw I'm so sorry. Its not your fault. It was fate heaven wanted her back. Now she is happy and safe.

I had a little blind chick hatch and she didnt make it either. I did everything I could to keep her comfy and I was so upset when she died. But at least she wont have to suffer or get picked on anymore
