My Tom turkey sitting on a clutch of eggs

Do you think he can hatch them? Is this odd for turkeys?

If he sits on them for the required number of days, he can hatch them. It is odd but not unusual. I have a Tom that is setting on duck eggs now. He will be surprised at what they will look like when they hatch.
