This is the about the third time I've looked up to see them sprinting across the yard. The first two times, I went out to make sure they weren't being chased. No, they're just trying their hardest to best Usain Bolt.

I've got one pullet in particular, Bling, who loves to put her wings out and play 'take off' by bolting as fast as she can around the run...she'll even bounce off fence posts and the coop! We call those the 'chicken crazies'.

Oh my gosh, my Fifi does that! I imagine she has a little jet engine sound going in her head when she does it! [Top Gun music] LOL!

I guess so! I tell them it isn't a race, it's a marathon. They aren't leghorns, ya know!
