My turkey died

One of my three Narragansett turkeys (hatched 7/23/09) died overnight.

Last night when I fed & watered they were all fine.

They have been cooped and fed turkey grower feed. All seemed extremely healthy as of last night. I found no visible signs of injury when I examined her body. Rigor had set in over all parts of body, but the neck, is this normal? (Could she have broken her neck?).

I am so sad. And frustrated that I don't know what happened to her.

It's possible she could have broken her neck, when that happens you should be able to feel it. We have had peafowl and pheasants break their necks and you could tell. Did you see anything different in the poo?

Pooh looked normal.

yesterday afternoon, while spending time with the surviving tom & hen I noticed that the tom has abrasions on the top of his head and the hen had a tiny bleeding wound on the top of her head also. She particularly was extremely skittish. I wonder if a predator on the outside of the coop scared them so badly that they injured themselves in panic?
