Here's pictures of the turkey throughout it's hatching. I got the egg for free about a month ago. And boy is it a loud little thing, guess that means it's strong.

He is darling. I just moved him out of the bator because he was panting a lot. I also cooked him some eggs to eat. After I showed him the water and eggs he thought it was a good idea to lay in the eggs, lol. After I walked away he started peeping. He does it everytime I put him down. I think he's attached to me. I love the little guy (well, could be a girl too).

I haven't had much luck in hatching turkey eggs...you did a great job and it is very cute

I was only turning the egg twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. This is my second go with eggs. The first batch was chicken eggs and only 2 of 14 hatched, one died within an hr and the other died within 12 hrs, neither ever got on their feet and were quite. This little guy was loud and I kept opening the bator to make sure he was still going, after the first batch I was worried. I did help him some, he couldn't hardly move inside the egg, so I peeled a little back to make some room to move for him, then it was all on him.

It's really hard to sit on your hands after you lose the first batch. You'll trust it more as you go along. I'm glad he made it.
