Hello,
I have a turkey named Tommy. His tail feathers were pulled out overnight in the coop by one of my other birds. The shaft is still there but his tail area is bleeding and bare. What can I do?
Thank you

Hello! Clean the wound with saline or warm soapy water, and then put triple antibiotic ointment on any open wounds.

Do you have any pictures? He may need to be separated if he is still bloody or the tail is red. BluKote spray might be good to hide the red so he is not pecked more. Is there a problem with too many males? I am not very knowledgeable about turkeys, so I am going to tag some others for suggestions. @R2elk @casportpony @theoldchick or any others?
