My turkey isnt feeling well

Yes, you could try it. However, without knowing the reason for the malaise, it is sort of like shotgunning into the dark. I'd probably give it. Could be the stress from the parasites made him more vulnerable to something bacterial - but, again, that's mere `blue-skying' on my part.

Good luck!

Ok so a couple days of antibiotic and if it doesnt work try antibacterial??? Should I give a rest period before switching to a diff med?

If you have the Sulmet that is added to water, check the instructions. The prep we keep on hand (for mixing in water) suggests 2 days at full strength, followed by 4 days at half strength (for bad `bugs'). Without more specific symptoms it is hard to know.

Dr. Debbie Leach, in Columbia, MO works with poultry (undergrad degree in Poultry Science). She'e performed surgery on one of our turks and pretty much knows her stuff. http://www.myzooanimalhospital.com/

Wow the Doc is impressive for sure thanks for leading me there.
I think doing the sulmet is my best option I do keep the prep that you add to water and the instructions are the same. I am going to mix it up and hopefully it will help him. Of course he is my favorite, but maybe its just when they get sick they automatically become your favorite???? If you have any other suggestions please let me know, I appreciate all your help and advice so far
