My turkeys are begging for an early Thanksgiving

Oh man! Mine probably have no hope either then. I don't even attempt to get him or the poult down. I have my DH checking the military surplus store for some canvas tarps for my run today. Maybe I could fold one up on top of the skid steer. That might help a little anyway.

I love Turkey's, but they are just dumb as stumps sometimes.

Mine follow me everywhere like I am the pied piper. I know folks driving by get a kick out of it.

Yeah I have one hen always out in the AM she runs over to her door for me to open it and let her in I thought I read on here that they get too heavy to get 11 feet high so my solution is to just net the top of their new digs but I don't have snow to worry about. I was going to let them roam around in the front with eucalyptus trees but there is no way now those trees go up more than 30 ft and the neighbors have them too I don't know how I'd keep them here and they already think it's funny....that hen is over in their wood pile real early

This is why I don't raise turkeys! I don't butcher any of my animals, but I would love some turkeys to put in the freezer. Too bad I have very close neighbors that would not appreciate turkeys on their vehicles.

Mine are afraid of the weasel - they go higher and higher every night - tonight they are on the roof of the house by the fireplace - having a party I think - but that has occurred after both the big butts decided hanging on the power line to the house was a good idea - I thought for sure they were going to pull it down. Nothing looks dumber than a woman in the yard yelling "get down you D**M turkeys before we all get killed" and throwing pebbles at them. They looked confused for a few minutes and then they flew to the fireplace *rollseyes* - they'll be scared of me for a week now...
