If I ever need to order Midget White poults again I might get them from Welp. They were hatched Tuesday morning it said@10AM shipped that day arrived at Burbank@19:21 left @7am arrived @my post office @6:30AM so it lagged here in CA I don't know where LBB (I'm thinking Long Beach?)is? Goleta or Santa Clarita are the 2 processing places that I know. Burbank is 3 1/2 hrs from my house...I have 3 poults that are stressed they're warm and I've been helping them drink and they have a chick for company so I have 48 hrs to claim any losses. The rest of them are running around with the chicks that came yesterday mostly drinking but I hard boil eggs and chop them up fine for all my shipped birds so the turkeys sleep where they can just eat they only get up to drink. They have climbed all over the red feeder and pecked in there but they like the eggs the best and the red rocks I have everywhere in the feed and water....compared to the ones I hatched (RB)these don't peck as much but they peep more. I sure hope I don't have many die.

I've lost 2 and I figured on maybe losing 5 so tomorrow I'll know how many I get my money back on.....I had 5 or 6 that were pretty stressed 2 are living that I thought for sure were gonners and doing very good they just wouldn't drink just wanted to lay down one had like death throws but came back to life....with poults you just never know how many will die from shipping and my weather yesterday was awful I was thinking I should have put them inside the house but the brooder is nice and warm and right now they are with 36 chicks that are a day older. The chicks think it's warm the turkeys think it's nice but they're in a 8ft round water tank so there is plenty of room for the chicks to stay cool. I have 3 waters and 2-24 inch feeders in there-I fed them a doz hard boiled eggs yesterday and they still have molasses water I like that better than sugar tomorrow they'll go to some just water and then as the waters get cleaned I have the vitamins that go in the water. When spring comes back

I'm putting them in a "hover" brooder when they are a week or so old. We still have wind not 50 mph today but still gusty going to get hot next week so I'm going to be having fun trying to keep those poults alive.
