These two are white leghorns. They should be coming up to four weeks old. The one with the bigger comb, kind of, gasp, does have some color, whereas her sister’s is all yellow. What’s crazy though is the one with the bigger comb is smaller than the other chick. It’s also the one that has been unhealthy. It has gone through respiratory issues, sneezing, and even an injury on the body. So if it is a rooster, I wonder if all of his trials in the beginning of his life kind of kept him small. Maybe it’s just a girl with a faster growing, darker comb. I heard leghorns have big combs. We shall see soon.
