My two Banty hens.

I would desparately like to know more specifically what type of Banty they both are. Top girl lays white eggs and bottom a light green. Love them both but would like more of both someday. Top hen (Squiggy) chooses to nest up in a tree and bottom (Spooky) occupies the hen house with the GL Cochin chicks.

Welcome to BYC. Both look like game cross hens. The hen that lays the light green egg carries the blue egg gene. If you have a rooster, let them both raise their own chicks. I'm betting that both will go broody.

Thank you "Sourland" for your help..I have four babiy banties that I am hoping for a rooster. I very much want to let both hens at least try to be mommas. I have a feeling they will both be good at it, Here's hoping
