My two broodies are hatching eggs-together!

They are both mothering those chicks, funniest thing I've seen

They both stick together, take turns showing babies where the food is, and when roosting time comes, they park their butts outside the coop door (babies can't quite get up there yet) and cuddle babies up underneath the both of them. When I go out to close coop doors, I just scoop them up, and they head over to their "corner" and bed right back down

I only had 6 hatch-last one I wasn't sure about as it was a true runt-one of the moms must have cracked the egg-too early, and the poor little thing was premature. Definitely smaller size wise, and developmentally. Instead of bringing him/her in, I decided to let nature take it's course, and leave it with moms-it's thriving so far.

What I'm doing with all the chickens...hmm, I'm not sure.

I do have an ad up in our local free classifieds, to try and disperse a few of my big laying hens, and some babies.
