My VERY alive, and sleeping chick! (:

Oh jeez. ):
I really am awfully sorry!
I just know that dogs play dead, and I thought it was so cute.
I really truly didn't mean to offend, or make a joke out of how terrible it is to lose a chick.

Can you change the name of a thread?
I will, if that'll help any....
Really, truly, sorry

yep, you can edit the very first post, and change it that way

Thanks BBQ, I appreciate it. I really am not an uptight person, honest. It was just sad timing for me, and I knew it might make others sad too. Thanks for changing the title, very thoughtful.

No problem. I really am sorry, though.
People get chicks all the time, and some don't make it. So I should be more considerate of other peoples' predicaments.

You can make almost any chicken sleep on its back. Not sure why but if you lay them on their back while you hold them in you hand they go limp. If they do squirm a little you just rub there chest and belly.
Must be some scientific explanation for it but I don't know what it is.
Have fun with you babies.
And Happy Mothers day to all the wonderful women out there.

thats how my favy sleeps as well. i though she was dead one morning and touched her and she jumped up! i was like "thank God!"

I've tried bananas. They didn't seem to like it much. Maybe if I keep bringing them a wide variety of different tasty treats, they'll realize I am not there to harm them.
